The training consists of three dynamic days of learning. Your state or organization may be interested in hosting a training. If so, please contact us for further information at info@ctfalliance.org.

Benefits of Attending a Training Event

Participants who successfully complete this training become Certified Trainers and members of our national learning community of trainers from diverse fields who seek excellence in training around the protective factors.

An Important Message from the New Jersey Child Welfare Commissioner

Dr. Allison Blake, the Commissioner of the NJ Department of Children and Families, shares her endorsement of the Protective Factors Framework and her commitment to using the Alliance's training of trainers, Bringing the Protective Factors to Life in Your Work, to ensure that workers across the state are skilled in helping families build protective factors. She suggests that her colleagues around the country do the same. She is a great supporter of the Framework and puts that support into practice by requiring all NJ DCF grantees to show how they plan to implement the Framework in their work with children and families. This support is further expressed by the solid professional development foundation NJ is building by supporting multiple training cohorts of Alliance Certified Trainers for Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work. Dr. Blake is well known and highly respected across the country and we appreciate her endorsement of this valuable resource provided by the Alliance.

Participants Share Their Experiences in the Three-Day Training of Trainers Event

Participants at a recent Alliance training of trainers sponsored by the Children's Trust of South Carolina share what they found to be most meaningful about their experiences in this training, Bringing the Protective Factors to Life in Your Work, and what they are now able to take back to their community that will move their work forward to prevent child abuse and neglect and strengthen families.
